Liam O'Hara Memorial Walk
A large crowd turned up on June 27th last, to show their support to the O'Hara family who had organised this event in conjunction with the postmen of Ireland and in aid of St. Anne's Alzheimers Unit in Dungarvan. The total collected on the day was €1,600 and an overall total along with the postmen nationwide, presented to St. Annes Unit was €9,100.
Liam's family would like to sincerely thank everyone who made this event possible and who helped out on the day, the sponsors of the refreshments, the stewards and to the tea makers and bakers who made sure everyone had a welcome cuppa when they returned to the hall.
Well done to all who took part.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time. Ar Dheis De Go Raibh a Hanam.

Tallow has entered the Tidy Towns 2015 competition for the first time. We have a long road ahead and a lot of work to be done which will involve cleaning, painting and constant monitoring of litter. We are appealing to all residents and businesses to look after their own individual properties and area to the front of each property to ensure that paths are clean, litter free with no weeds present. We would appreciate if each house would arrange window boxes and hanging baskets to enhance the town. This year is our starting point and we will all move ahead in a positive manner to show Tallow to its best advantage!
The Tallow Tóstal Festival began in 2013, during the year of the Gathering.
