Untied get off to a winning start.

OUr U12 team were first into action on Saturday last away in Castlelyons and came home with a win.  Our academics are also back training on Wednesday nights whild training has also started for U14 and U15's a huge crowd turned up last week.  Long may this continue!

Many local soccer fans made the trip to Dublin on Thursday last for the Irish game versus Switzerland.  Our U21's had another great win in Dublin on Friday night last with Mick McCarthy looking on and no doubt was impressed with what he saw.

Ryan Whelan was in topform here scoring a hat trick for our lads.  Ben Sheehan scored twice with Tadhg McCormack and Lee Guildea also finding the Celtic net. 

A good start here for our lads but there will be tougher games ahead. 

Utds squad: Darragh O'Brien, Sean Mangan, Jordan Murphy, Michael Murphy, Daniel Henley, Adam Pratt, Isaac Almeida, Ben Sheehan, Tadhg McCormack, Ryan Whelan, Lukasz Madey, Lee Guildea. Well done boys. 

Congratulations:
To Jason Molumpy captain of Republic of Irelands U20 team who won on Friday night last in Dublin.  Jason was also selected as man of the match.  All in all a great night for Jason and Cppoquin. 

Birthday Greetings:

To James Clancy who celebrated the big 40 with a party on Saturday night last.  It was a case of standing room only in Clancy's bar.  The cake was nice and someone said that he did it himself!  Congratulations from all in United. 

 

Visitors:

Founder club  member Patrick Coughlan was in Tallow over the weekend and enjoyed himself chatting to some old and new members of the club.
