Our U11 team travelled to Cappoquin to take on the local side.
Results:
Brideview Utd 2 Lismore 2
The points shared in this local derby so the bragging will continue in school on Monday. Both sides had chances to win this game but at the end both sides may be happy with a share of the points. Jake O Brien and Jack Murphy were on target for Utd.

Academy results
Well not results as there are none for Academy games but we do give players that scored and players on the teams. These boys and girls like to see their names on the paper.
U11 Academy
Our U11 team travelled to Cappoquin to take on the local Cappoquin- Railway team. Ethan King grabbed a hat trick. Other scorers were Ryan Whelan (1) Lee Guildea (1) Dylan Kerrigan (1) Harry Power (1) Well done to all players including James McDonnell, Oscar Cunningham, Paul Hegarty, Brian Murphy, Oscar Morrisson.
U8 Academy
We had Ballybridge Utd as visitors to Leonard Fraser Park on Saturday morning. There was no shortage of goals here but Adam Feeney scored thirteen yes 13 goals. Well done Adam. I wonder is this a record. Rhiannon Keniry grabbed a hat trick, her brother Jake got one, Isaac Doyle (2) Adam Forbes also got a hat trick. Lee Curley and Akeem Veale Said. Well done to all the boys and girls. I bet the coach Natalie was happy.
U 17 Friendly
Lismore 6 Brideview Utd 0
The second half was a disaster for Utd who had turned in a good performance in the first half but fell away totally in the second half.
The first half saw keeper Shane Martin bring off some terrific saves. At the other end Almeida, Costello, O'Dowd, Pratt and O'Brien all went close but at the break the sides were scoreless.
Some bad mistakes by Utd's defence in the opening 10 minutes of the second half saw Lismore 3-0 up. They added three more before the final whistle sounded.
