Covid 19 is the big winner!

Yes as all schoolboy soccer comes to a halt due to Covid 19 we will all have to make enormous sacrafices going forwerd.  With all sport cancelled going into the summer months we now ask ourselves when will we be back to the sction.  Already the past six to seven weeks have seen more blank weekends due to the weather are now faced with a different more difficult problem.  If rumors reaching use are true then we could be without our football for some months.  More problems for the league committee and the clubs. Interesting weeks ahead no doubt. 

Sympathy
The club extends its deepest sympathy to the Sheehan family Convent St. on the sudden passing of Mairéad.  May she rest in peace

Enormous Sacrifces

Over the next few months our players, coaches, parents, partners and sponsors will have to make some big changes in their lifestyle.  We would ask everyone to do what the HSE as us to do.  Remember we are doing it for each other.  It will not be easy but we will all come out the other end all the beter for it.

To Mary Pratt who is on Telly Bingo this week.  Last week Trish Feeney was picked from spar supermarked and on the same show out came Mary Pratt who does the Telly bingo and purchased her book from Valerie in Tallow Post Office, well done to everyone.

Plenty of Stock In Centra

Timmy and Ted Keniry have seen a very busy week at their Centra store in the centre of Talow.  It's been very very busy all week said Tim, but we have a terrific back up with plenty of extra deliveries coming into the store and this will continue.  People will now stay in tow to shop instead of going outside of the town to shop especially with long ques outside some of the larger stores.  
Kenirys will have a delivery service to those poeple unable to get out shopping, especially the elderly, stated Tim.  People need to give us a ring and we will get their groceries delivered to them that day. 
This Covid 19 could be with us for some time so it is important that our customers do what the HSE asks of all of us added Tim. 

Pubs Cosed

it could be a thirsty few months with the new us with the pubs closoing.  Everyone is being asked to play their part.  Did we every think something like this would happen.  This virus is giving everyone problems.  Hopefully everyone will come out the other end  Other stores like Spar and Daybreak have plenty of stock so there is no need for people to panic. 

Helaine McGrath of McGraths Pharmacy also has plenty of stock.  People are being asked to stay behind the table in the entrance to the chemist and the staff will take orders and people can then call back for their medicines.  No customers are allowed in the shop to save people gathering while waiting for the orders to be filled.  The word from Helaine is that people need to stay calm and get their medication as they would normally would. No need for panic buying.
