Tallow active retirement group was founded in 2008. Currently the group meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month in the convivial surroundings of Tallow Enterprise Centre. One of the most valued aspects of the Active Retirement concept is that everyone involved retains their independence and freedom of choice including their level of participation.

The group enjoy lots of different activities. The meetings at the Enterprise Centre consist of ‘talks’ on lots of different issues including health and wellbeing, road safety, craft work, flower arranging and lots more. On specific days the group just have a game of bingo and a cup of tea or maybe some gentle exercises or a quiz. On other occasions the group go on different outings - visiting places of interest or having a night out at a musical. Let there be no doubt age has no restrictions when it comes to having fun.
