Fixtures : With fields opening earlier than expected and championship been given the green light in club format to start from the middle of July, the county board in their wisdom have given clubs some breathing space and put the fixtures forward alleviating the pressure that the original format had on clubs. We start our campaign against Ballygunner on Friday 24th July at 7.30pm in Fraher Field. The following week we lock horns with Passage in Fraher Field on Sunday 2nd August at 7pm.

Club Lotto: Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to recommence the club lotto as originally planned on Monday last June 29th. We hope to get this resolved as quickly as possible and will update as soon as we have a restart date. All tickets bought for the last scheduled draw will be included in the next draw.

Congratulations: to Stuart and Aileen Barry on the birth of their son Gavin at the weekend.

Comhbhrón: CLG Tulach an Iarainn extend its sympathy to the Henley and Geary families on the passing to her external reward this past week of Bridget. Peter and Bridget have been living in Aghada in East Cork for many years with their family but have always had a close contact with their former homes here in Ballinaha and Tallow. May her gentle soul rest in peace. We extend our sympathy also to the families of the late Dermot Bolger (Conna and Ballyduff) whose tragic accident has shocked the entire area.
