G.A.A. Notes 14/07/2020

Junor Hurling: Our junior hurlers open their account against Fourmilewater on Sunday at 2pm in Ballymac.  This years league is based on a home and away arrangement.  This is the juniors first competitive action since we bowed out to the same opposition at thesemi final stage last year.  With nothing on feel free to travel down and support our players.

Dog Fouling:  It has yet again come to our attention that dog fouling is occuring on our grounds.  Signs visibly displayed at the entrance of the field state, that dogs are not permitted.  This is not the first time we have had to raise this matter. There are plenty of non playing fields in the countryside if one wants to walk their dogs safely.  They are not permitted on the GAA grounds so please adhere to these rules and consider the players.

Deise Draw:  With the lotto out of action for the time being, we have the Deise Draw as our only viable income to draw on in the coming months.  It is a vital component for the running of our club.  We would appreciate if everyone would endeavour to support this draw.  The draw is more condensed with the current climate.  The original April draw has been put back to August and will now run from Auguust to December.  €90 for the year and €15 a month.  Of the €15 we will retain €10.50

With this in mind the opening draw on

Wednesday August 26th

Friday September 18th,

Wednesday October 14th

Friday November 6th,

Tuesday December 1st,

Tuesday December 22nd

This will give the clubs a minimum of three weeks between draws.

Anyone who is ibterested should contact David O'Brien, the Tallow Whatsapp page or the Tallow Facebook Page
