Weather causes problems
Yes the weather caqused games to be cancelled on Saturday morning last.  For United four U11 academy game away to Mogeely and the U16 game in Lismore were all victims of the weather and the boys rearing to go.  However our U11 academy did get a game on Thursday night last against Castlebridge.  Our scorers here wete Taylor Twohig ho grabbed a hat trick, Aidan Murphy(1), Brian Miguel(1), Alex Good(2) and Joseph McDonnell(1).

Delaney On Fire
Michael Delaneys meeting with Jose Mourinho before

the game V Leicester on Saturday last telling him Utds fans in Tallow were not happy. Jose promised Michael he would take on board his advice and sure it worked as Utd won 4-1.  Well done Michael. Now if he can do the same with Utd's A team.

Sympathy
The club extends its deepest sympathy to The Power and Aherne families of Tallow and The Sheehan family England on the sad passing of Kathleen Erangey in England.  May she rest in peace.

Congratulations
To John Moran and Laura Cashman who got married on Friday week last.  John was a terrific player for Brideview and scored the only goal for Utd V Inch in a cup semi-final some years ago.  John spent the night in Tallow signing autographs.  Ha! Ha!  Anyway congratulations to both and best wishes for the future from all in Brideview.  Oh I did hear Michael spoke well.  He is into the bestman's job now of course, and his buddy making sure there was no mistakes.

Bon Voyage
We wish Donnachadh Mulcahy the best of luck as he heads for New Zeland this weekend.  Donnachadh was a valueable member of the club and all in Utd wish him wella and will also be delighted to see him back home again.

Birthday Greetings
To Stefan Tobin who celebrated his 21st birthday on Saturdaylast.  Manager of the B team James Clancy is noe looking forward to working with Stefan as he is more mature.  Well said James.

The Big Gig
This Saturday night in The corner House a charity fundraiser for Pieta House.  Music is by dinny Cunningham and Sunset Sound. There will be some guests on the night so the craic should be good.  Be there or just send a cheque.  It kicks off around 10 O'clock.
