At the end of the highly entertaining game Utd. secured a terrific away win in Clogheen on Saturday afternoon.  This was marvellous win for our lads agains the league leaders.

We hit the post after just 5 minutes and the only goal of the game came after 10 minutes.  When Eoin McGrath struck, Utd. saw Crawford, Long and Aherne all go close to increasing the lead but at the final whistle McGrath was Utd's hero.

Well Done Jason
I think this must be a first, but then again i could be wrong that a young soccer boy won the Pat Noctor award.  This took place in the Ard Scoil Na Deise on Friday night last.  We congratudate Jason Molumphy on winning this award and best of luck from all in Brideview.

Sympathy

The club extends its deepest sympathy to the Whelan family Lismore and the Curley family New Street, on the sad passing of Michael Whelan. May he rest in peace.

Republic of Ireland v Italy (U21 International)
The above game will see our U13 development squad act as ballboys but we will also have some girls taking part as ballgirls and flag bearers. We will also have a mascot from the league so it should be a good night and maybe we may have some locals on TV as the game is live on Sky sports. The club have got free tickets for our boys and girls and the club will run a bus leaving Tallow (opposite St. Patricks Hall) at around 4.15pm. The bus is filling up so get your names in quickly.  Yes parents can travel as well.  The cost is just €8.

Congratulations:
To Martin Ryan who got engaged over the weekend.  To Bernard O'Hara who celebrated his 50th birthday, I know I'm forgetting someone, but there is always next week!!

Best wishes to Caelin Rooney who is on the mend after his operation.
