The Weather is the Winner
Yes another blank weekend due to the terrible wet weather which we had for most of the past week. We look forward to getting back into the togs and socks this coming weekend.
Santa on the way
Yes it's almost here. The date Friday 6th December is fast approaching. Santa will arrive at 7.00 pm sharp. The price of the visit to Santa is just €5. Full details next week.
You boys in green
A full Aviva in full voice could not get Mick and the boys over the line. Without doubt one of the best disp[lays for a long time a 1-1 draw was not enough to see us qualify. We now go to a knock out game against Slovakia. If we win that we face another away game to the winners of Bosnia and Northern Ireland. A large Tallow gang enjoyed the craic in the Ballsbridge Hotel while more Tallow boys were in the Landsdown Hotel.
A Tallow visit
Mary Butler T.D. will attend St. Patrick's Hall on Saturday week December 7th at 11.00am. Problem can be solved by giving Mary a shout.
A big night takes place in the Corner House all in aid of The Lions Club Christmas Appeal. Music will be by Sunset Sound and friends. Always a good night and the money raised going to a good cause. So why not drop into the Corner House Bar this Saturday night.
Birthday Party with a difference.
Two birthday parties, one in Clancy's Bar on Saturday night which was great craic and Jackie is still only a young girl of 30. By the way Sean had a lovely haircut.
The other party was in Waterford and by God was there a story here. One of the guests got on the train for Carlow fell asleep and ended up in Dublin. A Tallow man no doubt.
