Kevin Walsh Memorial Cup
Another Cup for United
Stephen Pratts team won The Kevin Walsh Memorial Cup in Conna on Saturday afternoon.  They defeated another United team in the semi-final namely James Clancys squad.  Lee McElroy was again on form here grabbing four goals in the semi-final while Ben Aherne scored for Clancys squad.

Final

A classic seven goal thriller here with Utd comming out winners which kept manager Stephen Pratt happy.  Goals from Stephen Pratt, Chris Murphy, and Two goals from that man Mc Elroy saw Utd run out winners after a very exciting game.  They fell a goal behind early in the game before fighting back and going into a 4-1 lead.  The O'Neills fought back with two late goals.  However Utd held out for a victory.
Utd: C.Sheehan, S.Pratt, A.Pratt, B.Aherne, E.McGrath, S.Sexton, C.Murphy, N.Condon, A.O'Keeffe.

Credit to Valley
This tournament is a very popular one with teams and clubs.  However all the players and supporters were well fed throughout the day.  Margaret and the girls did a terrific job and yes even Derry did a great job.  Well done to everyone.

Well Done Jack
Yes what a display from young Jack O'Donoghue at the RDS on last Saturday week.  Jack came joint first in the Land Rover Puissance when he cleared a terrific 7ft 3inch wall.  Jack played

for Brideview in his younger days.  No doubt the O'Donoghue family (Glenaboy) are proud of this young man whose future os looking good.  Well done Jack.

Sympathy
The club extends its deepest sympathy to the You family on the very sad passing of Li Ping (Sonny).  May he rest in peace.
Our sympathy also to The Hale and Stewart families of Lismore on the sad passing of Sheila.  May she rest in peace.

Development Squad
We have some boys who are on trial for some of the leagues squads namely Darragh, Jack and Shane.  We wish all three the best of luck

Galway Cup
Both Tom and Mark Dalton were in Galway last week the U13 squad and both did very well.  Tom picked up and injury in our second game against Finn Harps but Mark went in Between the posts.  The boyus drew with Colerado Rapids and Jinn Harps befor going down 2-1 to Galway.  They then played Kerry in the shield semi-final and won 5-2.  They again met Galway in the final and this time they ran out winners 1-0 to win the sheild.  Colerado Rapids went on to win the cup.  So well done to J.P,Gary and all the boys here for a job well done and that includes Tom and Mark Dalton.  Well done lads.

Birthday Greetings
To one of Uniteds best keepers of the past namely Billy Sheehan who celebrated his 40th birthday last weekend.  How times fly Billy.  Not forgetting Ella Finch who was a big 2 years old last weekend.  Then we had Steven Pratt who celebrated his birthday on Tuesday. Best wishes to all three.  Stephans age is a secret Ha! Ha!

U18 Game
A mixed bag of clubs will take on Burncourt/Vee Rovers on This comming Friday night.  Players will be notified of time and venue
