Brideview Utd v Tycor FC
Brideview welcome Tycor to Brideview Park next Sunday to play the first round of the Munster Junior Cup. Brideview have had a lean patch in recent years losing out on a big scoreline to local rivals Lismore last season as well as similiar opposition to next Sunday.  St.Pauls who also play in the Waterford league. Tycor have played four league games so far this season and sit mid table in the O'Neill's Division 2A league winning two and drawing with their only defeat coming to high flying Tramore Ranges who have won all thier games so far this season.  It is an odd time for the season for all clubs into being in a position to field their strongest eleven and if we can squeeze through the opening few rounds who knows where it could lead to.  Dave McInerney and Chris Murphy have been in fine goal scoring form and lets hope they can continue in that vein when Sunday comes.

BRIDEVIEW UNITED SCHOOLBOY NOTES

Defeat for United
United had just one schoolboy team in action last weekend that was our U-12 team who played away in Mogeely.
U-12 League Mogeely 4 Brideview Utd. 0
Our U-12 team went down to a very strong Mogeely team on Saturday last.  We were short Kian McGrath, Cian O'Brien (injured) and Jake Henley for this one.  Never mind lads there's always the next game and let's hope we get back to winning ways.

Speedy Recovery
To Michael O'Neill of Medeligo who was sick but iI am glad to report Michael is now much better, of course Carmel sorted him out and got him back on his feet.

Cappoquin boy Jason Molumphy had three marvelous games with the Republic of Ireland U-17 side in Finland.  Jason scored a terrific goal in their first game which they won 1-0.  They also won the second game and drew 1-1 with Sweden in their final game.  Well done Jason.
