Brideview Utd. Aft Schoolboy/Girl Notes
A Community effort in Tallow
The opening of Leonard Fraser Park took place on Saturday last in brilliant sunshine with a huge crowd present. The grounds, the clubhouse and car park looked very well thanks to the great work put in by the committee and a large number of people not involved in the club but who gave a hand over the last few weeks.
Refreshments
The light refreshments which were served up in the clubhouse went down a treat. Here again the ladies came up trumps with sandwiches, caked and buns.
Thanks
When one starts thanking people sometimes we can
leave someone out so we will just say a big thank you to the people who gave a hand doing the work on the grounds leading up to Saturday. The people who supplied the power for Saturday and indeed prior to the event.
The people who supplied sandwiches, the huge amount of cakes and buns which were delivered to the clubhouse and can I say were delicious.
The local GAA club gave the car park and the use of the dressing room and the Fóroige for the use of their clubhouse. St. Patricks Hall for their help with tables and chair thanks to all of you, not forgetting the man who directed the traffic.
