Its a busy few weeks for the club with next Saturday nights BBQ in Clancys Bar and then on the June Bank Holiday weekend the re-opening of Brideview Park.  Then for our schoolboys it s the awards night which this year takes place in The Community Centre Tallow.  So dates for your diary over the next few weeks.  BBQ in Clancys Bar this Saturday night 20th May.  The renaming of the pitch Saturday 3rd June at 4pm.  The Schoolboy awards nitht Saturday 17th June (to be confirmed) for next week.  So much to look forward to in the comming weeks which will keep all the committee busy. Then  I did not mention Lip Sinc which takes place on Saturday night 3rd June in Lizzy Langtons.

Birthday Greetings
To Ryan Hurley who celebrated his birthday on Friday last and hopefully everyone enjoyed the party.  Not forgetting Carmel McDonnell who celebrated her birthday last weekend.

Congratulations
To everyone both boys and girls who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday morning last.  Thankfully the weather was nice and sunny .  Best wishes to Ryan Hurley who makes his First Holy Communion on next Saturday in Dungarvan.

Best Wishes
To William O'Neill (an ex united player) who now plays with Valley Rangers.  William broke his leg and we in Brideview wish him a speedy recovery.
Our own Kenneth Dearney is also out injured at the moment and could be out for some time.  We hope Kenneth will be back in Utds colours for next season.

Darkness Into Light
Tallow people took part in walks in Knockanore, Dungarvan and Mitchelstown for this very worthy cause.

How Time Flies
It was 21 years ago that Charlie Mc Carthy and his son Mick visited Tallow.  Mick was the newly appointed Republic of Ireland mamager.  On his visit to Tallow Mick presented the club with 30 tickets for his upcomming testimonial.  A great day was had by all in Dublin even if some lads fell asleep.  I could write a book.

Speedy Recovery
To two of our star underage players namely Josh Sheehan and Alex Good.  Both are injured at the moment but for the season is finished so the lads are not missing any games at the minute.

Best Wishes
To all our schoolboy players who will now be playing hurling and football.  We hope the boys and girls enjoy themselves which is more important than winning whatever sport they play.

Birthday
A bird told me the other Chairman is celebrating his birthday this weekend.  Is he now a lifer.  Ha! Ha!
