Brideview Utd AFC Schoolboy/Schoolgirl Notes

Its Almost Kick Off Time
How time flies and once again its almost kick off time for our schoolboy/schoolgirl soccer season to kick off.  In fact it kicks off on Saturday September 3rd.  So its time to polish the boots and wash the gear.  The acadamies will not start till a little later but the full programme will have been sorted out on last night (Tuesday) as a full league delegate meeting will have taken place and we will have a better idea from that meeting with wheres everyone is at.  Brideview hope to field teams at U11,U12,U14 and U16.  The club also hopes to have an U18 youth team.  We will have more on this league in the next few weeks.  Any

new boys or girls are more than welcome to join the club and anyone who would like to either train kids of manage a team is also welcome to get in touch with any committee member.

Best Wishes
We wish Stephan Frazer and Margaret Cunningham the best of luck as they get married this comming Saturday and hopefully the day will be sunny and dry.  Best wishes in the years ahead from all in United.

Horse Fair Day
Oh yes its almost upon us once again.  This year and for the following 2 years the fair takes place on Monday 5th September.  Now you know and remember there will be no through traffic in Tallow on that day.  We will have times for our readers next week.

Birthdays
How did I forget young Andrew O'Riordan who celebrated his 21st birthday last week.  Well done from all in United.

Membership
Nobody likes to hear this word mentioned but we have to at this time of the year.  Those kids in the acadamies ages 6-10 the membership is just €10.  However if a player is on any of the following teams U11s, to U16s, then the membership fee is €20.  Just to remind parents its not all for the club as €10 from each player is given to the league.

Reminder
Regarding the car park for the horse fair day would people willing to do a few hours get in touch with Liam Frazer as we will be having a meeting next week regarding same.  Thanking you in advance.

Congradulations
To Paddy McNamera of West St who won the all Ireland Cup in County Louth.  Paddy is well known in gun shooting competitions and Paddy came our on top and brought the all Ireland cup home to West St.  Well done Paddy from all in Tallow and Brideview Utd.
