Brideview Utd AFC Schoolboy/Girl Notes

Summer Camp a Great Sucess
The weather played its part in helping our summer camp to be a big success.  A total of seventy one boys and girs took part in the camp and all the kids enjoyed it.  Indeed many boys and girls asked could it to on for another week of two and it would only the coaches were too tired.

Thanks
To the coaches both boys and girls who helped the camp to be a real success.  Not forgetting the boys and girls who turned up.  We did have a few small problems

during the week namely cut legs and wasp stings but the doctor on call sorted these out Ha! Ha!  The craic was also good for the week between the coaches even grandad enjoyed it.

Trip to The RSC
A big number of local fans took the trip to the RSC Waterford on Friday night for Waterford FC versus Cobh Ramblers.  The Power family enjoyed the trip and will travel again no doubt.  A good win for The Blues and puts them 9 points clear at the top of the table with another home game against Athlone this Friday night. Another trip for the gang no doubt.

Found
To mention that after the last trip to Waterford for our ball boys a cúl bag was left in a car.  A cúl jacket size 24, a red jacet age 9, and  lunch box blue and yellow in colour is with Liam Frazer from the summer camp. So if any of the above are yours then give Liam a ring or call to the house.

Birthday Greetings
To the Power twins Briana and Clodagh who celebrated their birthday on Saturday last.  I hope they both had a good day.  Knowing them I know they had.

On Holidays
Good to see the Irish girls home on holidays namely Chrissie and Ann.  No doubt John will be back again fro the next game.
