McGrath Wins Player of The Year
A hugh crowd turned up on Saturday evening in The Round Tower Hotel Ardmore for the W.W.E.c. League's 21st birthday and the schoolboys and schoolgirls awards night.  Utd had Ciarán Lenehan, Shane Martin and Eoin McGrath all nominated in their divisions.  While Ciarán and Shane got certificates Eoin McGrath did get the U16 Player of the year award which was a great tribute to him for his efforts during the season.

John Early Chairman of the S.F.A.I. Martin O'Hanlon General Secretary of S.F.A.I. Padraig Clarke (ex committee) and Paul Osam Republic of Ireland U16 Manager.

Chairman Busy
Local Utd man Brian Donnelly Chairman of the schoolboy league had a busy night.  Brian made presentations to the boys and girls who won the awards.  Presentations wete also made to John Early, Martin O'Hanlon, Caelin Rooney, Paddy Pollard and Liam Frazer.  Chairman of Ardmore A.F.C. Declan Barron welcomed the crowd to Ardmore and Declan like Brian also had a busy night.

Not forgetting Breeeda who did alot of work behind the scenes including making the cake.

Enjoyable 
It was very enjoyable night and i understand the awards could become an anual event.  Maybe the committee are looking for a night out as they enjoyed Saturday night last.  I will say no more.

Birthday Wishes
To Tomás McCarthy who I am told celebrates his birthday this week.  A text will be sent out during the week as to where and when the party is. Ha! Ha! Greetings also to Bill Brown who also celebrated his birthday last week from all in United.

Tickets
Tickets for Republic of Ireland V Belarus need to be collected from Liam Frazer this weekend.  A handful  of tickets are available. 

Travelling Fans
Some local fans are heading for the Aviva this Friday for the game V Holland.  Next week we thank under the tree (what) and get ready for The Kennedy Cup and The Euro's.

Stag
The boys got back from Killarney from Paul O'Briens stag safe and sound.  All enjoyed the two nights away.
