Results:

DB Sport U12 Cup Semi Final
Ardmore 1 Brideview Utd. 3
These two sides produced a thrilling game in Ardmore with teh result in doubt right up until the final whistle.  On a cold but dry evening Utd.took the game to the homeside from the first whistle.

Joseph McDonnello tested the Ardmore keeper in the 7th minute and five minutes later the same player had a fine header which the keeper did well to keep out.

The opening goal came in the 22nd. minute when Dean Cronin shot home from close range. Gearoid Hynes had a great chance a few minutes later but Ardmore's keeper got down well to save.. A terrific header by Paul Henley just drifted outside the post. At the break Cronin's goal sparated the sides.

Utd's keeper Shay Pratt brought off a great save in the 34th minute but two minutes later the homeside were back on level terms thanks to an O.G. Danny Power broke through in the 40th minute but again the keeper denied him.

Utd. went back in front in the 50th. minute when a Joseph McDonnell cross was deflected to the Ardmore net. Then in the 56th minute Utd got a vital third goal. It was set up by Ben Sheehan and Joseph McDonnell got the final touch to seal a victory for Utd. and a place in the Cup Final.

Utd's Squad all played: Shay Pratt, Aidan Murphy (Capt) Billy Murphy, Darragh O'Brien, Sean Murphy, Joseph McDonnell, Danny Power, Dean Cronin, Gearoid Hynes, Ben Sheehan, Isaac Almeida, Jack Henley, Paul Henley,Jack Henley, Alex Good, Daniel Henley.
