Schoolboy Notes
Both of our U18 teams were in action on Saturday last, one at home and one in Lismore.  Blackwater United U16 team were at home in Tallow on Saturday morning last against St. Kevins of South Tipperary and ran out winners after an entertaining game.

Results U8 Game Brideview Utd, Yellows v Inch

A great game here between two teams having a right go at giving it 100%with the parents of both teams doing very well and seeming to be getting into the new FAI rules in the right way.
Tadgh McCormack scored a hat trick here but this was a great team effort.  Keeper Daniel de Souza was outstanding, Daniel is learnng the trade, which is building from the back very well.  Defenders Keith Martin, Isaac Almeida and Lucacz Madey played very well while midfielders Darragh O'Brien and Tadgh McCormack kept a good supply of ball going into striker Lee Guildea.

U8 League: Valley Rangers v Brideview Utd Blues

Our second U8 team travelled to Conna on Saturday and Rangers had a Tallow man in the managers seat, and did very well, Right Gary!.

Again a great game here with Ben Sheehan doing well in goal.  Ben also played out the field and got a hat trick.  Sean Mangan also got his name on the scoreboard, Ryan Whelan and Adam Pratt played very well in defense, Michael and Jordan Murphy did very well in midfield. 
The sun shone brightly on Saturday here for the lads who enjoyed showing off their skills.

U16 League Blackwater United 2 - St. Kevins (South Tipperary) 1

What a game this turned out to be between two evenly matched teams. Mark Steward was on target here for United while also getting an important clearance off the line in the dying minutes of the game.  Kieran Crawford was involved in the winning goal with Eoin McGrath, Liam Motherway, Dean Beecher and Diarmuid Costello also involved in this victory. 

Birthday Greetings
Two popular young men celebrated their 18th birthday's over the weekend namely Ryan Grey and Jordan Henley.  It's great to be young lads, so we in United hope yee had a good one. 

Then of course on Sunday we had Laura Frasers Birthday, Laura's age... well Kieran said she is not thirty!! we hope you had a good day Laura.  

Republic of Ireland v Bosnia Herzegovina 

Tickets, tickets and more tickets, yes that was the problem for the last week as tickets or should I say a lack of them, became a major problem for local fans. 

Young Tiger
The young tiger (taking after the father no doubt) is gathering up the trophies at teh Dungarvan Golf Club.  Well done Eoghan.

Sympathy
The club extends its deepest sympathy to the Norris family Ballyerrin, on the sad passing of Josephine McGrath, Clonmel and late of Tallow, May she rest in peace.
