Murphy Strike Not Enough
What a game we had in Tallow on Friday night last when Utd's U12 side played Cappoquin and it was heartache for Utd as two O G's gave the visitors the points. Our U14 team travelled to Ardmore on Sunday morning last adn has a big win over the homeside.

U12 League: Brideview Utd 1 Cappoquin 2

What can one say about this game but that everyone who attended were certailnly entertained by both of these sides.  The visitors took the lead in the 10th minute when one of Utd's players say his header somehow end up in the net.  Utd's keeper Alex Good did bring off two terrific saves in this half to keep Utd in the game.

The second half saw Utd. get on top and Stephen Murphy scored a marvellous equaliser in the 55th minute.  Utd. pressed forward with some great passes being strong together and for a while Cappoquin goal had some narrow escapes.

Then with just a few minutes remaining a shot from one of Cappoquins forwards was deflected off one of Utd's defenders and ended up in the net.  Time ran out for Utd. to get the equaliser and Cappoquin held out for all three points.
The man of match award here must go to the young keeper for Utd. namely Alex Good who had a terrific match and brought off some marvellous saves during the game, well done Alex.
